About Noah Berrie
BIO
Noah Berrie is a New York and London-based sound artist working between installation, composition, and performance.
His work examines sound's physical, perceptual, and residual nature, often reduced to its fundamental components: vibration, resonance, density, and tuning. The result is felt as much as heard — sound you move through, inseparable from space and material.
Trained as a classical violinist, Berrie now performs with a custom electroacoustic system built around feedback and responsive electronics. He is active in experimental and improvised music communities, scores for film, and releases music independently.
His work has been presented at the Haus für Medienkunst, Oldenburg; Lee Alexander McQueen's Sarabande Foundation, London; Tracey Emin Foundation, Margate; Gray Area, San Francisco; and Audium, San Francisco, among others. He holds an MA from the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University.
