Wound bass strings are mounted along the wall at different heights, each held taut between two aluminium anchor points. Small vibrating motors hang from above, striking the strings in shifting patterns. A non-repeating algorithm controls the activation, sending a ripple of sound from one end of the wall to the other, sometimes dense and sometimes sparse. When struck, each string produces a brief, bell-like tone as the motor bounces on the string.
